All free ChatGPT users will soon have access to the new search experience on both chatgpt.com and the mobile apps for iOS and Android. If the feature is enabled, you should see a Search button.

In a recent YouTube video, the OpenAI team explains how to use SearchGPT. To start, you should type in a search term. For example, you can ask, “What are some good events in San Francisco this weekend?”

OpenAI is also introducing ChatGPT’s search function in its advanced voice mode. This feature can be very helpful when you need up-to-date information while conversing with the AI chatbot.
